I don't know who we are seriously in the running for or who we end up getting, but it doesn't really matter to me at this point. Paul has just got to go. Period and end of story. It's like the Les miles firing, i didn't know who we would get, but it sure turned out for the best hiring coach o. This deal with mainieri feels the same way. We will end up with a good coach and I will be happy and looking forward to the future under their direction with the resources,facilities, support, and talent that we have to help them be successful. Geaux Tigers.

That’s not exactly how baseball works. Vandy, Ole Miss, and Tennessee (twice) all beat us by 1 run and we have a worse record than all of them. One run games against lesser opponents are not uncommon and not indicative of whether a team will make a deep run or not.

I think we are agreeing Alabama is an inferior team.
That is basically my point.
Also, I meant overall record LSU has/had more wins. If anything, pretty similar records is all I meant. I just don't think people should have been getting too excited over beating Alabama 2-1 is all.
I absolutely remember reading a bit of an overreaction after winning game one yesterday. I still hope we can take the series tomorrow.

Yeah I know some people who posted things like that were being sarcastic. Others were probably just excited because you have to win the first game to have a chance at the sweep. People were hoping we would sweep Bama and A&M and that would be enough. People still like to hold out hope that we will have a big win streak at the end of the season that gives us momentum into the postseason.
