I was in center campus this past weekend and saw nothing roped off.

However, they have already canceled the pmac performances for the first two games so I'd have to disagree with Woodwards 100% statement.

Bogus argument. At tailgates a person can control who he is near. At the game he cannot. At the game a person gets exposed to complete strangers for about 4 hours (2 hours for most LSU fans who leave at halftime).

If mandates are in order (I don’t think they should be) a line has to be drawn somewhere. No matter where they draw it a critic can pick circumstances on either side of the line that seem to show inconsistency. But there is a clear difference between tailgating and attemding a game, with the latter being worse.
