Undefeated and ranked #6 due to cupcake schedule so far. Jury still out on how good this team is. There are two SEC teams ranked ahead of them so we’ll see.

The only problem I see is the LSU Women's team is too independent and they go one on one too often. They don't have the team concept yet.

Having a cupcake early schedule was smart. Team needs time to coalesce.

I'm not a big fan of cupcake schedules under any circumstance because I like to expose my weaknesses as early as possible so I can work on them and that does not always happen when you play significantly inferior competition repeatedly.

But.....as I've said, it's how Kim rolls and she's won more national titles than me - she's not changing - it's worked for her. So be it.

Del Rosario hasn't been playing because she hasn't stepped up. Can't shoot or rebound I'm so disappointed because I really like the girl. *'s don't really count sometimes.

Plenty of talent, bigs are too weak to make a major run. Will make the tourney.

If Smith and Wolfenbarger can get more aggressive there is more hope, Del Rosario has taken a step back instead of improving.

I think Rosario was injured in the off season and could`nt get in shape
to play well. She needs to lose about 30 LBS to get playing time.

Our defensive prowess/efforts are often lacking. We played poor D versus Stanford and barely beat them in OT in an amazing comeback. Since almost beating us, Stanford has lost by 20+ points to Cal and Ohio State, both good teams. The comparisons are not favorable to LSU.

We'll find out quickly, in January. Jan 9 in Knoxville and versus Vandy on Jan 13 in the PMAC. We also play at Carolina on Thursday, Jan 23 after playing at UF on Sunday Jan 19. That week is gonna be hard for us.

I hope and think Smith will improve as the season progresses.

Del Rosario sure needs to step it up. I expected she would have played better than she has so far.

Del Rosario is what she is, slow. They need Wolfenberger to keep emerging. Hopefully Smith comes around, she isn't much of a presence as of now, defensively. They at least need her to defend and rebound well.

They are a final 4 team or a sweet 16 team depending on Smith.

Kim mulkey is legitimately the goat so difficult to not see us in the race as long as she’s around.

Our schedule sucks so I haven’t watched much but I do love Mulkey’s sense of urgency and transparency that we don’t look good right now. But I thought we looked horrible last season until I started watching women’s basketball at other programs…it’s a bad product overall. We probably aren’t as bad as you’d suspect.

Who do you think needs to play soft non-confrontational defense?

welcome to 2024/2025. It isn't just Women's basketball, watch the men. Long gone is team basketball, crisp passing, kicking it out to the open man/woman.

They play up and down to competition - I don’t think the transitive property works here. Young teams usually play up and down to competition - no maturity.
