Jimmy Taylor for football, Dick Maile for basketball, and Lynn Amedee for baseball

LaRon Landry or Michael Clayton. Josh Reed was the first player that I remeber specifically cheering for but I was young so I didn't idolize him. Clayton was the first one that I truly loved. LaRon took my fanhood to a completely different level though. I wore 30 in HS cuz I wanted to be like him.

Idealization is a psychological or mental process of attributing overly positive qualities to another person or thing. It's a way of coping with anxiety in which an object or person of ambivalence is viewed as perfect, or as having exaggerated positive qualities. It's common with borderline personality disorder for a person to idealize a friend, family member, or loved one. This thread is an epic failure.

I met Bert in the Monroe airport years ago when the players were considering going on a strike. Very friendly and unassuming man.
