What makes you think that? That was the first time we had shown any sign of life at all? We had the "best player in all of college basketball" last year and laid an egg in the SEC tourney. There's no way you think the team this year will make a better push than last year do you? JJ is done - put a fork in him.

this team simply needed a confidence builder. playing kentucky close in rupp arena is a confidence builder. they won't face a tougher game the rest of the year than last night. blakeney is starting to get hot. sampson is playing well and i really like what reath is doing down low. if we play kentucky just slightly better in the sec tourney i expect us to win the whole thing.

Okay, fair enough. It's a shame more fans aren't a little more patient than the constant bitch fest about fire the baseball coach and his staff, fire the football coach and his staff, fire this coach, fire that coach.

Just ignore him. He's a troll and he knows it, OR he's just that stupid and not even worth the discussion. He said we made the NCAA tournament last year, he thinks it took coach K 7-10 years before he started doing anything better at Duke than what Jones has done in the first 5 here-both of which are factually incorrect, he thinks Johnny is the only moral coach available and everyone else he'll have the inconvenience of having to talk to his kids about...he's simply trying to rustle jimmies at this point.

Something important is missing from jj's repertoire.
A couple of things. Offense and defense.
Its not only about the players.
I long for a better coach. Give jj a raise and let him be the chief recruiter assistant head coach. I have seen better play from high school teams.

and a few more: discipline, motivation, emotion.
I've never seen a more dead head coach than JJ. I'm not a fan of the ranting lunatics on the sidelines, but damn, Johnny, show some emotion!
