With the way we are playing, anyway we get catapulted as a regional host?

Seems like there are a bunch of variables that go into play when deciding how teams get ranked. No doubt that a regional host would hate to see LSU as a 2 seed. With that being said, this team is playing as good as the top 8 teams in the country. We have 2 front line starters and a few great relief pitchers. It’s a recipe for some strong post season advancement.

Ms. State is currently ranked 15th with a record of 38-21 and we are 40-20. Anything is possible.

LSU def has a better resume than a few teams ahead of them in rpi

1 the rankings are not the seeds 2 whatever poll you were looking at was most certainly before the conference tourney started

I’d still doubt it, but you have to think beating Tennessee tomorrow would be better for the cause than Vandy

we won't, but ask yourself are we playing like one of the top 16 teams in the country? Absolutely. we are playing like a top 10 team. We have the IT factor now, with these freshmen stepping up. Our big bats did nothing today, outside of Jones having the solo.....and we scored 12 runs. We are coming together and so is pitching.

Someone posted earlier lsu didn’t submit a bid to host so it’s not possible but I’m not sure how it works.

Playing AND beating Tennessee instead of Vandy will help.... You never know. I like the way the Tigers are playing. Last 2 wins have been amazing. Hats off to South Carolina. Great games!

Unfortunately not. You can’t value one week in which some teams don’t really have a ton to play for over the entire season.
