I asked a similar question about WR’s a couple months back and this board didn’t respond well. Ended up with numerous WR’s in the portal after that post
Look at LB, the situations aren't even similar at all. There is no stud, there are no legit returning young studs, none of these guys out of Baskerville have even played significant snaps. It is completely wide open. It makes no sense to leave until you know you aren't even in the rotation. I can see a RB leaving, but not a freaking LB, makes zero sense.

He didn’t get hammered because people thought he would be wrong. He got hammered because it’s in poor taste to suspect transfers before they happen.

Get out of here with that crap. Taste? Really? On here? No. You probably downvoted him because NONE OF YOU will admit that the generation today has zero loyalty to anyone other than some fictitious video game characters. Most of them are soft and can’t take criticism or are willing to work hard enough to see where the chips land. They would rather QUIT. My generation actually loved the school above themselves. If you didn’t start right away, there was no shame in that. Hell, freshman could t start. Like another poster stated, a talented freshman doesn’t mean he is physically or mentally ready to play.
Austin Nola should be an example to everyone on here about developing and sticking to a plan.
