With OU & Texas joining SEC, will LSU still be able to play Clemson in 2025?

Yes, we still need at least 2 non conference games in a 10 game conference schedule. And it's almost certainly only going to be 9.

Hopefully we don’t play Clemson again until they join the SEC.

Aside from the National Championship game, of course ;-)

That 2025 schedule was going to be brutal.

Noticed yesterday we already had a home and home with Oklahoma scheduled in the coming years.

Sure we’ll play them there in 25.. but the return trip from them to Baton Rouge in 26 will never happen.
It seems to be a pattern

In a year where we go to Alabama and to Georgia , Clemson should come to Baton Rouge. In fact with a conference schedule like that, nobody would have criticized us for scheduling a rent-a-win for the opener

That '25 conference replicates the '18 schedule except uga game is in athens instead of BR. LSU finished #6 for the '18 season.

I think it stays on the schedule, but everything after is up in the air. With change likely to a 9 game conference schedule, this really hurts the G5 schools that P5 schedule financially. I could still see the push for more OOC home/home games, but athletic directors will be picky about who they choose.
