With Everything Going On In UK & France, This Is The Front Page Of The Telegraph

I’ve been reading the Telegraph almost daily since around 2001, about 25 years. It has usually leaned pro war; it was generally for the Iraq War as well as the war in Afghanistan. It was very pro on the NATO attack on Libya in 2011. But now this outlet is begging for war with Russia and its coverage of the US has been completely, overwhelmingly negative to the US.

Moreover, as you can see above, it’s saturation coverage. I used to read (and still do) the Telegraph for its coverage of British and European issues. But lately the coverage has skewed away from European issues and problems (like finances, energy, migration, culture) and hyper focusing on the US, Ukraine, and Russia. You can see the tabs for Donald Trump and Ukraine. Those were added in recent years (last 2) and yes, you would think you were already on those tabs from the headlines you see alone but no, you’re not even seeing all the coverage focused on the US, Ukraine, and Russia.

The Telegraph has become shameless shallow propaganda. It has always been an establishment, globalist outlet in the media world, somewhat akin to the WSJ. It covers for both the Conservative and Labour parties, though it favors the Conservative Party over Labour. It views Reform as the apocalypse and coverage is typically ignored or negative.

Regarding coverage of Ukraine, what Scott Ritter is to Russian coverage the Telegraph is to Ukraine. I’ve been reading of a continuous string of Ukrainian victories for years now and if you only read their coverage you might be confused as to why Ukrainian forces haven’t taken Moscow yet. Every time Zelensky comes with his hand out for more billions of taxpayer dollars and weapons, the coverage has been consistent: they point to the US and say “pay the man!”
