Do you mean in Louisiana or across the country? Grow up. Most people in other parts of the contry don't give a shite about LSU one way or another unless they are playing them.
Don't be so fuc king provincial. Notre Dame, USC, Alabama, Michigan, Ohio State, Penn State and a bunch of others have a higher national recognition factor than LSU.
Hell more people are talking about Boise State than LSU.

igoringa it has been widely posted here for 4 years at least that outside fans and media think Miles is an idiot. Bringing that up now isn't going to sway anyone. People have now (since the WV game) taken a stance that will not be changed by any facts pro or con for Miles, the coaching or the players. Once an discussion turns to name calling and flaming the facts no longer matter to either side. Just how people are and have always been.
