Real downer of an experience
So was the Rose Bowl but it’s still cool to visit and see the team play in a historic stadium

Its all about quasi neutral site bullshite . Just one of the thousand paper cuts killing the game.

But it would be cool for the super conferences to do like basketball ball and line up a sec vs big 10 challenge and match each of our schools for 1 game each season
The main reason of my post was to say play big out of conference games at home instead of neutral sites. The fans would like it more

Will never happen. If and when LSU ever plays Michigan in Ann Arbor it will be in September; snow there in September is no more likely than snow in Death Valley in September

I'd love a Nebraska game here or there. Lincoln would a great place to watch LSU beat that arse.
We played a home and home with them in '75 and '76. Lost 7-10 at Lincoln and tied 6-6 in TS.
They were a top notch program then and we were kinda down but both were great games.

I remember back in 1970 the Aggies, after shocking LSU in Tiger Stadium, had back-to-back games at Michigan and at Ohio State. I remember they were competitive at Michigan, losing only 14-10, but were annihilated at Ohio State 58-0 or something like it.

I agree with you but unfortunately we have had trouble with people agreeing to home and home series. After COVID eliminated Texas in 2020 their bitch asses wouldn't reschedule the game. Now that they are joining the SEC we will be able to play more regularly.
We are getting UCLA at home next season, we have a Clemson series scheduled thats home and home. But I would prefer just moving to a 10 game conference schedule rather than random home and home series.
