Go root for Bama ! Then you can kick your dog when they lose one game every two years and win the NC only twice in five years as you worship Saban.

OK, my sarcasm meter just pegged

You guys don't deserve to be fans of LSU football if you think that winning records and bowl games are unacceptable.

Actually, the problem with your theory is that Les is paid millions to get a lot of wins each year. And to be honest, he's doing that. 7-5 would not cut it on a consistent basis.

Should some of these close ones start turning the other way, then he'd have problems. But until then...

I miss the LSU teams of the '80s & '90s

People forget.

1960-2004
5 seasons with 10+ wins
9 seasons with 2 or less losses

2005-2012
6 seasons with 10+ wins
5 seasons with 2 or less losses (with 2012 tbd)

How spoiled we've become.

To be fair, I can understand the bitching to a certain extent. We've had a successful program in recent years and we want to keep it that way. If we didn't have emotional fans we prob wouldn't produce great teams.

Miles at LSU will never CONSISTENTLY go 7-5 during the 20 years that he'll be here.

7-5 is considered a winning season. That would assure hime a raise.

So now we are happy about winning seasons . So if we were 7-5 every year you'd be okay with it?

eta: even 8-4

Your goals are not high and I will not be satisfied with this. But we have to get used to it, as it will not change.

Gee, Bama and UGA both got to rest players and get younger players valuable experience today because they did NOT " play to the level of their opponents." What a novel approach.

I believe that this is in his contract and, indeed, he will have earned his raise.

He is the best that LSU has ever had, and he's the best that LSU will ever have IMHO.

Sure. I love my Tigers, no matter what.

But, Coach Miles almost always will do better than 8-4.

What if we went 9-3 for two years? I guess you'd want Coach fired, right?

I'd prefer a change up in coordinators before I change my HC

That's the thing about NaggerTigers, they don't think.

The Chick Fil A Bowl is on Dec 31st, so our starters have plenty of time to rest. Too bad JJ is gone. His feet made us a lot of good plays. Mett is kinda immobile.

12 more years? Yikes. Well, at least we'll have a bunch of winning seasons during that time

Agreed. However YOU cannot call other posters whiners. People in glass houses should not throw stones.
