Winnie Watkins bad look

SIAP, didn’t see anything on it
I was under the impression that Watkins was a bit of a glue guy, real solid locker room guy. Hate to judge off one game, but this was piss pour effort here. There was also another play where Sam took a sack and he just stood in the endzone pouting.
I hope he got lit up in the film room for that. Dudes really talented, I hope we don’t see anymore of this kind of stuff.

He is definitely a concern considering he's been shown to have lackluster effort on multiple plays.
Problem is, he's our best option at receiver at the moment so we gotta live with it.

That DB was GONE 
He wasn't part of the play and acted the part. That's the frustrating aspect of this. He definitely should have given chase as well. I'm not questioning his character just yet. There's a reason Kiffin pulled him from OM. If he's a problem, I don't think that happens.

I have a bigger issue with his “route” than I do his lack of pursuit.

I'm not. When I say he wasn't part of the play, I mean he wasn't getting the ball so his effort was lacking. He didn't place himself in the correct position at all and gave zero effort after the pick.

I actually disagree with the Randy part - everyone has a job to do on every play.

He was an essential part of the play as the guy who is there to make sure the DB isn't in the way. This wasn't a play he could "take off" just because the ball wasn't coming to him.

I hope he got chewed out for that lack of effort. You one of the fastest guys on the team and he only had a few steps on you. If somebody just got him to slow a step down or 2, you would've had him.
