if he does indeed keep Crowton?

Of course.

But, I'll judge him based on that decision.

To me, Miles has two major items on his ToDo list in the offseason.

#1. Get Mettenberger
#2. Make a very good hire at OC

If he chooses to keep Crowton (presumably because he thinks the offensive problems were due to the QB rather than the coordinator), I will support him. But, obviously, if things don't work out he will be judged on that decision(and rightfully so).

So you support Crowton and believe he is the man for the job at LSU then?

10-2 10-2 10-2 10-2
Yes the fricking record is 10-2. I am happy LSU has that record. I will never use it to justify calling Miles a great coach though. Won't even say we should have got a BCS bowl. As a fan, how can some people rip a nonAQ undefeated team for their strength of schedule or shite conference? Then ignore the performance of LSU's offense while bragging on coaches for a great job getting to 10-2.

I still find it difficult to believe Les will keep Crowton after a second year of sub SEC caliber offense.Only Vanderbilt had a worse offense than LSU this year. In 2008 only Arkansas had a worse defense than LSU and Les made the necessary changes.

Will we have any other choice? Can anyone that posts here actually do anything about it? Moping, complaining and threats wont change anything.Just like the freaking parking situation next year,if you want to tailgate you will pay.Can anyone here change that?

No. It shows two things:

1. He is loyal to a fault
2. He may be able to recruit players, but apparently, can no longer recruit coaches

You really can't argue this. Miles needs to grow a spine.

No I probably won't be able to muster support for him as a coach if he keeps Crowton

Care to explain how you can offer support to someone you do not believe can get the job done. Would be hollow or fake support and thus not support at all.

If Miles keeps GC then he will be back on the hotseat and the minute we have a shitty offensive game then everyone will be calling for his head for not firing GC and starting Jefferson(which i think he will do)
so if he doesnt fire crowton then FML

i have always wanted LSU to have a legendary coach like the bear, paterno, bo, etc.....and Les is well on his way believe it or not.

One National Championship and one SEC Championship does not make a legend.

it's his responsibility to get a qb in here above a "2" as you put it. should he not be held responsible for our current qb situation?

I'm not sure that Crowton is responsible for recruiting QB's. The Coaches are assigned areas and sometimes are brought in on specific players. If you say his responsibility is coaching up the QB's, then I have to agree with the previous poster that brought up the fact that our current roster only has third string backup players.

Because i don't have the power to hire and fire. So...IMO...not supporting them means wanting them to fail...and if they fail, LSU fails.

Look, im hoping Crowton gets canned as much as the next guy....but if he's still here at the start of next season than i'll support him and hope he pulls his head out of his arse.

My only other option is to stop going to the games....and that ain't happenin'

Uhh...if there's a disconnect between the QB's LSU is going after and the QB's that Crowton would want for his system then LSU has a serious problem with coaching communication.
