Sitting out to preserve his future...

He was fine (or at least appeared to be) against South Carolina then all of a sudden he’s out for Vandy and beyond. I don’t get it.

Whatever Landry tells him to do. I feel like football has become secondary for him now.
But can’t blame him honestly. I’m sure it’s A1

He wouldn’t get picked on Day 1 or Day 2

Well, he stays hurt most of the time. So if I was him, I would try to get an NFL contract and see where it would go. He’s missed so many games. I can’t keep up with it anymore.

He weighs his options through NIL vs draft.
He may decide to come back, but it may not be to LSU. Just depends on what is best for him moving forward.

It really just depends on what Landry Kiffin wants him to do.

that is kind of funny, since he literally is our best defensive player outside of Haulcy and Delane.

I'm not laughing.
He needs more PT in college.
Everyone thought Nuss would be a 1r maybe, the 1st QB taken.
Sometimes, "the lights are too bright".
Baker hasn't helped him.

Most guys rated to go in round 3/4 leave. I am your 1 downvote. If he comes back, it will be to play with his brother and try to move up in the draft, but it is not far fetched for him to leave.

He just watched his supposed “top 3 pick” quarterback tank his draft stock by doing this.
He’s gone and frankly, if I were a player, I’d probably want to put this clown show behind me as well.
Guys with his competitive passion always think this won't happen to him. He may be gone, but I doubt it is over concern of dropping in the draft if he comes back.

IMO he is milking his injury. Honestly can u blame him. Nothing to play for.
