The only Wade team that didn’t advance was the Covid year and 2022 after he was fired along with his top assistant, because our AD wanted to make sure he didn’t make a run. Always good when your AD leave the players out to dry.

Sticky requested. It was disgusting how Woodward disregarded the Will (pun intended) of the fanbase, especially the students.

Mcneese doesn’t have the personnel to matchup. It’s just the way it is at a lower tier school. The nicholls game 1st half was a bit of an anomaly and you can’t expect that sort of game to be the norm.

I agree they have better talent. And much like tonight, baker was MIA. Jordan wright has had too much negative play. But the talent gap is large enough to expect that LSU beats Mcneese a majority of the time.

They should, yes, but the way these two teams are playing, it would be close to 50/50. If we don’t make 40% from 3, we aren’t competitive. We don’t get to to the rim, don’t rebound and don’t keep teams from getting to the paint. Right now, McNeese does those things well.

Judging lsu by there worst doesn’t represent the average. I’m not disparaging Mcneese. They are a pretty balanced, experienced team. I’m not implying LSU would dominate them. But just by personnel, they have no reed or baker, and it would take another poor shooting night from us and an extraordinary effort from one or two of their players. I’m not saying they wouldn’t beat us, but on average, LSU would win.
