Will Wade’s first 4 years.

People are really critical of Wade for every single loss and I just can’t understand how quickly people forget how bad we were before he got here. His first year, we weren’t great, but it was a marked improvement from where we were. Since then, we have finished 1st, tied for 2nd, and 3rd in the SEC. A Sweet 16 in 2019, N/A in 2020, and another tournament appearance this year. He may not be perfect, but he is coaching LSU to finishing at the top of the conference every year. If he can keep this up, our recruiting could improve even more and then hopefully we can build a Final 4 team in the next handful of years.
Now, if he can somehow figure out how to make us play better in SECT.

I love Wade, but some people realize in order to make it beyond Round 2 of the NCAA tournament better defense needs to be played.
Wade gets what he accepts defensively. That's really my only complaint.
My favorite thing about his teams? They shoot really well from the line.

How does he compear to other coaches unfairly being criticized?

A coach who can't get his players to use the proper fundamentals on how to block out when a shot goes up is a mystery to me. Are our players that dumb to not understand what WADE is teaching? It's not teaching if you can't get your players to do what they are instructed to do. It's mind boggling. They rely on their jumping ability too much and not technique on how to properly block out a player from getting a rebound.

We’re 6th in the league in rebounding. We average 2 less rebounds per game than the #1 team.

I watch the games and inevitably it will come back to biting LSU in the arse when they play a good offensive rebounding team. The next time LSU plays, rewind your DIRECT TV or Tevo AFTER the opponent gets an offensive rebound and just watch how many players just stare at the ball after it is shot and DON'T find an opposing player to put their body in front of. It's simple.... keep the opponent from getting between you and the goal. They have struggled with this all year. I was taught how to block out in 9th grade because I couldn't jump lol.
