Oh. So Yahoo is your source. Maybe those agents were researching a potential defense witness. If they were going to investigate Wade, they've had the wiretap recording since 2017, why would they wait until Yahoo wrote a story.

Kavell, Tremont and Naz were gone no matter what. Mays and Smart can still return and I imagine Wade's return would have quite a bit of influence on their decisions, along with what kind of feedback they get from scouts.

Ideally, yes.
At a basic level, there needs to be a move made tomorrow. Either reinstate him or fire him or else next year will go from a likely already tough situation to downright disastrous.

That statement about freaking out makes sense. LSU leaked the meeting as a way of testing the waters to see what the reaction would be, whether Yahoo is holding back any more material, etc.

Was just concerned as most LSU fans we were going to lose the best thing to happen to the university over the last decade. I thought I’d share because this situation has driven me crazy since it happened and I’m sure there are many who melted harder than I did. No need for anyone to eat crow. This board is remedial so I don’t blame most for being skeptical.
Had the opportunity to speak to this guy at a family dinner and jumped at the opportunity to ask him about the situation. Was hesitant at first, but he did not care. Man was my fathers best friend and hadn’t spoke to him in person but a handful of times since my father passed.
