Is he an analyst? I think he’d be pretty solid as a color guy.

I hope he gets a head coaching job in college basketball soon not only for WW's sake but mostly for the melts.

LSU is in good hands with McMahon, but the General will always hold a special place in my heart.

Maybe once we get rid of Woodward, Wade can come back home.

22 defense..because he wanted to take 22 seconds off clock before opponent offense could start vs. 2-2-1 press ...

Although it may be an unpopular opinion, I love will wade. I’ve never seen an Lsu coach embrace the culture and fans like he did, even sporting the general costume.
Did he hurt LSU? Potentially. Did he intend to? Unlikely.

I agree but would go further. I got the impression all of WW intentions toward his players and LSU were good intentions. That is the tragedy of the entire situation.

WW was just 3 years early on NIL. If NIL was in place when these allegations took place the NCAA would have nothing to stand on.

Spot on gumbo but hey, he resuscitated the program and got us back into the consciousness of the nation along with creating a sense among players that LSU is a place where marquee recruits can have success and further their careers.

It’s just crazy to me bc I thought we fired wade due to the writing on the wall and the impeding penalty from ncaa. Here we are months later and still nothing. I just wonder what ole pat ford will do with his 5 year old article he used yearly. Probably need to do a wellness check on him.

Oh you didn’t see, he wrote about it a couple months ago saying he overstated the situation at LSU. The guy is pure scum.

Damn I must’ve missed it! I wish these media heads were held accountable for flat out lying and spreading shite. Dude stoked the fire for years, wrote multiple hit pieces, talked mad shite, and writes one little snippet article to say he exaggerated? Oh hell na! We ride at dawn

And he’s done it to other coaches before but if you’re not a big follower of college basketball it’s easy not to notice his history. But you’re right, no accountability in media anymore. I’m riding as well, McMahon has done a great job of putting this team together and the more I read about this guy the more I think we’ve stolen another gem.

The General simply missed the ‘Joining the Country Club’ step. He was on a mission and that is not as easy as it sounds.

He won’t get a job until all the penalties come out because he is probably going to get hit with a show cause.

I’ll take McMahon over him. Wade’s X’s and O’s were suspect. He could recruit and now we know how he landed those recruits. Also the excitement for the program wasn’t near the dale brown days or even some years of the Brady ball era.
