He's been undercover for the FBI all this time!
That would probably be the funniest thing I’ve ever read. Will Wade - secret FBI agent goes undercover and exposes the seedy underbelly

Always good practice in life to take action before all the facts are in.

Why hasn't he been fired?
Probably just legal stuff and protecting the University at this point. He's still under a lengthy contract

Sure it was. It involved a player that actually signed with LSU for one.

Sounds like a desperation deflection to me but that’s just my opinion. I hope you’re right & there’s stuff that will clear this
Declaring innocence requires some sort of charge in the first place. The only official action is that he's been suspended while LSU gets all of the facts. I'm not sure there is anything that really requires a statement of innocence at this point.

Yes, we know.

It was easy to pass off as vague when it involved a dude who went to Florida State. hell, even i was defending WW on the SECr
but now? with the “Smart shite”? lulz, it’s a fricking wrap. at least it was an entertaining season

But both tapes implied violations for Wade, which is why this newfound integrity is stupid.

like a negotiated, but lowered buyout. None of these guys leave willingly and penniless.

I don't know why this is so hard for people to accept.
ThIs is 100% on Wade.

If all of this is true it would be a fireable offense. If the administration has more info that he is lying...they would move to fire him. I'm sure there is a general catch-all clause in there.

They may at some point if he's not cooperating
Posted on 3/8/19 at 5:09 pm to RogerTheShrubber
Why suspend him when there is no investigation? It's cowering at the NCAA at best

If LSU's angle is Will Wade lied to them it certainly helps.

When has that ever helped in the eyes of the NCAA?

Their job is to protect the university

The only thing that could really clear him is if he testifies in April. The tourney will be over
First of all, he's not the one on trial. Second, we aren't even sure he'll be called as a witness.

The timing of the suspension is absolutely at the feet of the administration.
