Millenials(especially athletes) arent used to being disaplined for their actions, so I am sure they were in shock. Put their asses in the corner and make them write lines every damn time Coach Wade!

This is fantastic! We may not be winning because we don't have all the peices, but he's giving 110% to make it happen.

should have never been eating special meals. I don't know about denying chicken or pasta. I would want them to at least have a great source of protein.

I'd rather have a coach who wins. When he publicized this rather than keep it between himself and the players, he was diverting attention away from his coaching lapses during those games. He talks big and panders to the fan base.

I have no problem with the discipline itself.

Publicizing it was pusillanimous.

Or you know, someone asked him at the coaches luncheon about those games vs. Arkansas and he told them what happened... But yeah, he was being cowardly by being honest with fans (virtually all of whom will respect his honesty and applaud his discipline)

Which is exactly why he publicized it. He knew knew the fans love the tough talk.

After the lack of discipline we've dealt with for the last decade plus? Of course they do, because they know he's holding his players accountable... Also last time I checked 4 wins is more than 2, so saying he hasn't "achieved anything" yet like you keep claiming is just wrong

Its actually really sad that WW has to remove comforts in order to get the players to play for LSU. Its an honor to wear the purple and gold. I'm all for what works to get them going. Not bashing WW. Just these kids these days live in an age of entitlement.

Billy Donovan did something like this to the team the year after they won back to back titles. They missed the tournament that year, but I didn’t fault him at the time for trying to shake up that team.
