LSU (will) have essentially moved three pieces (Rouse, Mallet, Schroyer) to get him. No others school would do that.
Verge will get the credit. But the reality is very little of this is his doing. There is a certain someone who is going to want you to remember this when you go to the polls in 2028.

Exactly, why would LSU do all of this if something wasn't already quietly in place?

Verge was the Yes Man to Scott who went along with him when he balked at Landry and Mallet's push to bring back Wade last year.

Landry is up in 2027. I doubt a GOP will oppose him and unless JBE runs the Dems have nobody. And I can’t imagine JBE winning after he nearly destroyed the state during his two terms
