Jordy’s source is probably Wade himself so I would believe this.
Also, Adam Miller tweeted that the story wasn’t true and that Wade was telling him to do what he thought was best for himself.

What led you to that assumption?
Was it him holding multiple charity basketball games for the state after hurricane damage as well as bussing his players to said damaged communities to help clean up?
Was it him embracing Louisiana and creating a signature line of "BootUp" which ahd the purpose of representing Louisiana?
Was it when he had players from California, Nevada, Florida, Maryland, and New York immersing theirselves in the state of Louisiana to the point of calling it a second home?
Was it when he went to the murder trial of one of his former players to sit with his parents during the verdict?

Or, lastly, was it when he offered to help the new LSU basketball coach, the man that took his job, get acclimated with the university and city, in an effort to keep the program rolling?

I am a Wade fan. I can admit that he was extremely sloppy in his recruiting efforts. I can admit that he was not an elite in game coach. I can also admit that he pretty much had to be fired.
Why can't the anti-wade guys just admit that he cares about the program and brought it back from the dead?

I think must of us who were not anti wade don’t have to tell ourselves fairy tales about his undying love of the LSU basketball program.
Especially since the program has a completely different look now. If is more reasonable to believe he supports his friend and one coach and two players that remain rather than LSU basketball and athletics at this point.

Everyone is going to feel one way or the other. It doesn’t matter. It’s all opinion based. Let people support him. Let people despise him. There’s no sense in getting bent out of shape over someone’s opinion about Will Wade.
I’ve heard interesting takes on both sides. I think both sides have good reasons for why they feel the way they do. Regardless, we all need to support this current staff and players.
And I would say maybe understand there were a lot of factors when it came to the Wade situation and administration. Try to understand that regardless of your opinion of the move, it was far from an easy decision. Nobody wants to fire anyone. It was not for the hell of it. It was for a reason. You may disagree with the reason. But I would maybe say try to understand the full situation and decide for yourself. Don’t make judgments based on over assumption, emotion, and incomplete information.
I love Wade and always will.
