He's already had 3 head coaching jobs and is a multi-millionaire.

He's about as employable in the industry today as I am.

liked Wade, but he and Bill Self are not even on the same stratosphere. Self has won two national championships, and almost annually contends. Wade, on the other hand, has one tournament win, and struggles to win games against various SEC West rivals. They are not even remotely comparable, and to attempt to link the two is asinine.

If Self had Will’s results, Kansas’ AD would have certainly thrown him under the bus the way Scott did.

I don't think the OP was commenting about reasons for the administration's action/inaction at Kansas.

But rather, the media's love fest with Kansas and how there is little or no mention about their pending violations and Self's involvement concerning the same investigation that brought down Wade.

Regardless of Self's success, vilifying one institution and ignoring the wrongdoing of the other is complete bullshite.

Sorry Jethro, Orgeron deserved to be fired long before he was

He also won a national championship, something Will Wade hasn't even approached.

yet you blew him religiously. Must be back on the sauce. You’ve ruined your life once I’d hate to see it happen again.

WW will probably be coaching against LSU in 3-5 years. I could easily see him at Ole Miss or Mississippi State. Could see him at a program like Memphis too.

The NCAA will look the other way at Bluebloods in a particular sport. Let’s face it, the university of Kansas and Duke are really only relevant in men’s basketball. Kansas has no football program and Duke isn’t going to be in the CFP anytime soon.

Alabama and Georgia and Michigan are equally protected in college football. The NCAA is scared shitless of nick Saban.

The NCAA is political and protects its brand in the sports it invests. Dick Vitale will worship coach K, Calipari, Bill Self, and Roy Williams (ret.) because those teams pay the bills and Vitale wants to keep food on his table. Therefore ESPN and the mouthpieces look the other way. If vital bad mouthed Coach K, vitale would be relagated to calling high school games in West Texas. It’s all political and hypocritical. It’s the world we live in unfortunately.

Wade wasn’t coaching at a blue blood school and he didn’t inherit a Roy Williams team.

Roy WIlliams last coached at Kansas in 2002-2003 and won zero NCs there.
