You know what’s gonna really piss me off about this shite is that it’s going to make Christian Dawkins seem like the center of the college basketball world and probably outright glorify him. Dude was a fricking middle man for the shoe companies that coaches talked to because he knew people who held influence over 17 year old kids. But this shite is gonna portray him as an impresario who ran college basketball. Gotta love sensationalist media.

I heard Will Wade was mentioned for like 2 minutes of a 2 hour segment.
I assume LesterEarl is disappointed. I like how he is now saying he loves Wade. There is a difference between stating he made a mistake and all the ridiculous negativity Lester has spewed about Wade's career moving forward. I like how his tune is changing now though.

Problem is none of those coaches have gotten into trouble over this because Dawkins was caught paying assistants and players in order to funnel them to a talent agency not to college programs. So it’s really a nothing burger dress d up to look like this big deal.

We have to remember there’s a major power struggle going on within sports right now and college sports is the front lines. This is about smearing the current system and the coaches shown as the dirty cops of college basketball. Why are they using someone like Dawkins? I’m sure there are coaches with credibility who’ve been railroaded and will give up dirt. As yourself the bigger question to find the real answer because places like HBO are never honest about what they’re actually showing you.

Nobody outside of maybe LSU and Arizona fans even know of Johnny Dawkins. If the documentary featured a big-name coach or well-known athletes, then people might care about this documentary. As it is, it's just a documentary featuring a generally unknown convict.
