WW is not Kirby. Kirby is Les 2.0.

No PG, plus Waters also masked a lot of stuff, made good out of it.

Let this season be..WW needs to come with the right pieces next season though:

= a true, mad-handles, 3pt-stroking, can’t stay in front of, finish with either hand, PG AND that rim protecting KBW, high, non-stop motor, 7foot-center.

I had fun winning in basketball last year. I want to do it again.

The no point guard narrative is bullshite. They beat Tennessee without Waters last year.

This team misses two true 6’10 post men that cleaned up the boards and could alter shots

LSU football could win the CFB Playoff this year and the first game we lose next year the fans will call for O's head on a spike.

Truth

Plus it's too early in the season to panic about basketball.

I wonder if y’all will turn on Orgeron like this if he loses 2 games next season.

Of course they will. Maybe even if LSU fails to score 40/game.

I've said this to some of my friends before, reminds me of Dale Brown. His lack of playing the game shows sometimes. He's turned the program around from the dumpster fire Jones left it in but it wasn't because of great coaching, it's because of amassing a great amount of talent. Javonte isn't a PG and it's hurting the team right now. Their offensive sets don't flow well and their fundamentals within the sets are terrible. Fundamentals on defense are lacking tremendously. I recognize he lost out on some players with the debacle that occurred at the end of last year but there are glaring signs that show he's just an average coach. From the onset, you could tell his offensive sets didn't exploit weaknesses of other teams, they just ran their sets. They won a pile of games last year on shear talent.

Some would because they’re stupid.

I didn’t expect us to repeat our success in hoops this year. The ball bounced our way last year in hoops as we had a lot of last minute and OT wins. We lost a difference maker in Waters and two big men.
Next year in football O will be replacing a record setting, Heisman winning QB and we’ll lose a slew of starters on defense and possibly offense.

Been saying this for years. Naz and waters coming back would have made this team really good, but that didnt happen. The cluster f at the end of last season hurt, no way around it. And these guys could still get a lot better for sec play.

Given how Wade runs his program, how is it possible that his teams ever lose to inferior programs?

I'm all in on WW but he better get a handle on Smart cause that cat is killing us. It's on him if Smart continues to make these terrible decisions that cost us games. Either coach that out of him or sit him, hell Bishop can go 2-13 from the field an he handles the ball better.

Too many kids played their arse off last night and left their guts on the floor to have such a big game given away by Smart's jacking contested step back 3's and awkward floaters.

I know he wants to show confidence in Smart because there is some talent there, but the honest truth is the kids liabilities have exceeded the positives over his career here so far. The Tennessee game was fantastic and he's had some other small flashes of brilliant play, but those have been the minority if you look at it honestly and objectively.

I tuned out last night because of what you posted above.

You could see this loss coming a mile away if you have watched all the prior games, which I have.

As soon as Smart started going HAM, I just watched football instead. LOL

Hopefully it gets fixed.

You’re right. Smart has the most 3pt attempts and the worst shooting percentage on the team. Like someone else said, most of his shots end up being a fast break slam on the other end. I’m glad we have wade and I think this program is better because of him, but he needs to get control of this team. Particularly Smart.
