When do Texas season ticket holders get their actual tickets? Do you think once shipped, more will go on the market and the market will drop?

These prices are outrageous.

Prices will not drop until a day or so before the game.

I bought last week at $350. A week before same section $300. Now at $400. I agree with other poster that they will drop day of but I needed 5 together. Hotels are impossible in downtown as well. Should be fun.

If you wait until the end you might be rewarded “somewhat” and find cheaper tickets THE day of the game, but don’t count on them being much cheaper because of the trappings of the game and who we are playing!!

This game is going to be sold out, UT alum and fans have a ton of cash, this will be a top ten matchup, don’t be too stupid if you really want to go! This game prices won’t go down too much, too big of a game and UT hasn’t had a game this big in Austin in YEARS! Prices will be out of control all the way up to game time, watch and see

Paid 375. They aren’t dropping anytime soon. I should have bought them a month or two ago when they weren’t as high.

I hope LSU reruns the favor and gives UT the same amount of tickets in Tiger Stadium as LSU gets in the game in Austin.

Unless Texas contacts us with individual options, we’re getting ours the day of the game at the stadium. No worries. Just like every event with 100K people - life happens and 2-4% will not be able to make the game last minute. May have to wear a Texas shirt and do a little hustling in the am but that’s fun too.

we (Texas season ticket holders) get to buy individual games next week - i think there are a few thousand LSU tickets left in the upper decks

Just cancelled my awesome AirBnB I booked in January. I’ll spend that grand I’m saving on tickets on a Fall fishing trip.

The prices are ridiculous for a regular season football game.

Prices may increase IMHO. A few will find a deal day of game but very, very few.

I personally wouldn’t make the trip unless I had tickets in hand. Austin is a logistical clusterfrick on regular days of the week.

Same. I mean, I’ve been to some big time games before. Countless LSU Bama games here in BR and Tuscaloosa. Never had. A problem finding a ticket before game time. I’ve saved hundreds doing this but I also understand why others don’t want to risk it.

UT does not know which day yet but they said they will send out an email letting us know - I will buy as many as i can but i am thinking there will be a limit of 2 and that high donors get to go first

No, esp with the low allotment given to LSU. Expect high prices

Your (my) best bet is to hope someone gets too drunk tailgating and can’t make the game

Yeah I’m probably about to do the same. Such a shame. If LSU doesn’t repay the favor next year I will be livid. Trusting Scott won’t let us down. I also trust our fan base not to resell their tickets to those tea sippers next year.

This contract was signed when Alleva was here. Don’t get your hopes up.

there is actually demand for big time match ups played on campus and not soulless nfl stadiums.
