Money is like Monopoly money in Austin...prices won’t go down.

I'm kicking myself in the foot for not jumping on them when they were $250 a pop a couple of months ago, but I'm hoping the prices will drop some once Texas season ticket holders are allowed to purchase more. There should be several thousand more on the market, so basic supply and demand would say the prices would drop after that.

That said, most LSU fans I know haven't bought tickets yet but are still planning on going to the game and will pay whatever to do so. With that in mind, I'm not sure how much the prices will really drop.

Just go down to the stadium and wait 5 mins until kickoff and haggle a deal. No reason to pay these inflated and asinine stubhub prices.

This game is going to be sold out, UT alum and fans have a ton of cash, this will be a top ten matchup, don’t be too stupid if you really want to go! This game prices won’t go down too much, too big of a game and UT hasn’t had a game this big in Austin in YEARS! Prices will be out of control all the way up to game time, watch and see

For those who are trying to do this, this poster is correct. If you aren’t having any luck buying prior to the game because of pricing, anyone expecting these prices to drop dramatically, it just isn’t going to happen. This game is going to be super hyped prior to the game, UT actually thinks they are back so all alum & fans now want tix, they haven’t had this kind of game in Austin in a very long time. And LSU didn’t get a whole lot of tix. These prices won’t go down much, wait until just before kickoff, but understand those tix are the tix that no one wants to sit in those seats so don’t expect great seats!!

Yes, if we lose to Georgia Southern.

So no.

Considering I spent $225 on the secondary market for the NFC Championship game last year...gonna have a real tough time spending over that for a regular season game.

I'll be in Austin either way. At stadium or in a bar, the market will decide.
