Looks like 11 offical missed tackles in 48 snaps. Not gonna cut it. How much improvement will we see this week?

Just curious how many of those were from backups. There was definitely a drop off at some point. Baker looked pissed after one of the plays.

I saw very few missed tackles myself but I didn't watch after LSU took out the starters. I'm fine with the LSU tackling by the starters. If you want to lose sleep over it, that's on you.

You may be right about that but you’re wrong and the fact that that was second and third team players on the field when that occurred

The Dottery missed tackle was on Clemson second play from scrimmage on the wide run and Dottery cut if the RB(Chris Johnson jr) angle and made him cut back to Whit. Wouldn’t technically call that a missed tackle he did his assignment to make the ball carrier cut back inside

Yep, several of the "misses" were from guys cutting guys off and someone else coming in and cleaning up. I thought they did a great job of tackling as a team and swarming the ball.

It was night and day better than the tackling of the past few years. It was no longer 11 guys running around trying to tackle someone and instead an actually cohesive unit working together.

An a different but similar note, Pickett came down and made a good tackle on the RB early in the game and I was impressed. You can see physically that he was put on weight and I love it when a CB comes down and makes a play!

Noticed where Ole Miss had 25 missed tackles against Louisville. That # could go up when the Tigers come to town.
