What? If anything it's the younger crowd that wants him gone because they don't know how bad it can get if you mess up the next HC hire.
Those are the same ones that think LSU recruits itself and any half-brain can coach LSU to 10 wins.

Uless he hires Steele, I'll wait until the defense shows ineptitude on the field first. shite we may not know if the hire is bad for a couple of seasons. Still plenty of talent to field a decent squad for any coach.

Seriously, I think he may be a fine linebacker coach and a recruiter, but his record as a head coach and defensive coordinator is abysmal (when he doesn't have Saban looking over his shoulder).

I'll be plesantly surprised if we end up with anything other than Haley as DC and Peveto being promoted to DL coach.
It also looks like the chances of BeBe joining the staff are all but gone.
