I hope to god this is sarcasm. Yeah why should anyone be happy about the most successful 10 year stretch in lsu history.
I HATE OUR IGNORANT AND ENTITLED FAN BASE

Will negatigers rejoice if he does? Don't think anybody is taking this lightly, it's a hugely important hire for Les.
No, they won't. He can win a NC, then lose 2 games the following year and they'd want him gone.
My view on miles rides or dies on this hire. At my limit with him.

I honestly don't think a lot of negas will come around with a home run hire at DC. Many of the negas are bent over the offensive woes....that would be me. He somehow fixes the QB situation and we see a drastic improvement in O production and some semblance of a passing game...then I think the fan base can get behind him again.
However, there are some who are content on the dark side and will never come back.![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/Icongeauxtigers.png)

If that's true, that's pretty pathetic.
I am starting to believe his family / wife etc. must post in here.

What? we think the coach that jist gave lsu its most successful 10 year stretch in lsu history n deserves the chance to right the ship. Also lets not act like our recent seasons have been horrible.we finished #2 out of 126 in 2011,#12 out of 126 in 2012. And #14 out of 126 in 2013.
A hell of a lot depends on this DC hire. 5 losses is acceptable at LSU one season but two in a row will mean the end.

I would bet my left leg that the budget Alleva has given to Miles is not enough for a splash hire
If the budget hasn't changed, he has 1.3M+ to spend.
You don't think that's enough?

As a negatiger, I would not be happy if he fricked it up. While I am no Miles fan, I am a fan of LSU. My desire for him to depart does not make me want the team to suffer.
If he makes a hire that you don't agree with, are you going to vocally "turn on Miles" right away, or wait to see the product on the field?

There's a lot of forgiveness in the hearts of the Positigers when it comes to Miles deficiencies.

So what if the o turns the corner next year, but the d struggles and we lose some games?

Saban did in 4 years what it took Miles to do in 10 and 3 of those 10 LES Miles years are padded with Saban Recruits and QB.//Miles doesn't need a better hire but one of equal value/ BUT it doesn't matter the PUMPERs would be satisfied if Miles hired L Tepper

Considering the bar has been raised, maybe not.

I'm curious how do you feel about Les interviewing stoops

For the record I immediately lost my mind when I saw the thread on the stoops interview
