No, I understand how they use him. I just don’t think he’s really been remotely close to a game changing asset.
Well, LSU's new QB made Alabama's new QB - Tua Jr - look even worse than Bret Nicholas - MUCH WORSE in both his destroying him for the Alabama state championship title and in the Polynesian Bowl all-star game.
Of Course, my boy Tory can handle the shite anyway.
They don't call him "Slinging Mad-Man T" for nothing.

Ok well why not make Burrow a damn WR since he can run too?

How many snaps has he taken and what type of benefits have the Saints received from those snaps?
Just in the playoffs last year, Hill converted a fake punt against the Eagles at a crucial point in the game. He also completed a 46 yard pass to Kamara in the same game that same game that would have been a TD if not for offensive holding. Hill also had a 3rd down TD reception on a screen pass inside the 5 against the Rams in the NFC Championship Game. Those were 2 big plays in the playoffs at big moments.
Another aspect being overlooked is the momentum aspect of having a player come off the bench, making a big play. These plays can create a type of momentum that pushes a team to victory because its a morale booster.

Payton said. “When he makes a play ... you can feel the bench react. He’s very unselfish.”

I get the score was 52-7, but that greatly had to do with their defense & special teams.

I am pretty sure if you bring the hot take that Drew is a Mobile QB you may have to defend it more than just name calling.
I don’t think any coach is run a Read Option with Drew, or putting him as a KR, or RB or trying to run a screen Pass to him.
Taysom is faster than a lot of our WRs, bigger than the ones he’s slower than. He’s the only QB on the team you’d want running an option play.
He is 220 and runs a 4.44. That’s someone that if he couldn’t throw the ball at all, you’d probably try and figure out how to work into your offense.
Can you say that about Parrish?

Decrease the amount of hits burrow takes...

Not a good enough reason to take the Ball out of burrow’s hands.
Can anyone tell me another school that had a good running QB that used another QB to run so their starter wouldn’t get hurt?

Hence why Burrow transferred.

Calling someone with a slower 40 time than Eli Manning a running QB is a bit of a stretched Haskins ran but he wasn’t good at it.

Parrish is 6'1 195 lbs @ 4.5 going against college players, not NFL players. He also has 4.43 in the short shuttle which displays his quickness. 4.5 is about the average for NFL WRs. On the otherhand, Burrow is a 4.7 to 4.9 type guy in the 40.
If you can't see that Parrish is a different type of runner compared to Burrow then you need to reconsider posting when it comes to comparing players.

There have been plenty of good reasons listed. We are only talking about potentially a package of 3-5 plays per game out of 70-80 offensive plays per game yet you are going on & on as if poster are implying that Parrish should split half the snaps with Burrow when that is nowhere near the case.

Have you lived in cave the past 20 years? College teams constantly did this when the wildcat became popular. Also, Bama spelled Tua with Hurts last season despite Tua being a playmaker with his legs himself.

Yeah it was the closest team I could think of. I agree that trying to use Parrish in this role is just stupid.

Lol. Who said anything about him being black or playing receiver?

1. Idk if you noticed but drew Brees got run down by both players. There is a reason Payton doesn’t design running plays for him. He’s 40 and not fast enough to run designed plays.
2. Parrish is not that so much better a runner that having a “running” QB is worth it. The best part of a dual threat QB is that defenses have to treat him as a dual threat.

He’s good and athletic and promising but not sooooo athletic we HAVE to find ways to get him on the field. Which is the case with Hill.

That's weird. Since Brees is so slow, I wonder why Sean Payton even bothers wasting his time lining up Brees at WR in some of the Taysom Hill packages. What an idiot that Sean Payton is!

I wonder why Nick Saban would give Jalen Hurts snaps last season when Tua Tagovailoa was also a dual threat QB? What an idiot that Nick Saban is!
Apparently SammyTiger on Tigerdroppings knows more than a Super Bowl winning NFL coach & multi National Title winning collegiate coach.

I literally said a few plays. Nobody's even talking about him on Special Teams. Using Parrish as the placeholder, or personal protector/wing in punt formations.
If Brady were to just randomly run Parrish out on the field with Burrow, at the very least it the opposing team is call a timeout.
I just want LSU to give opposing teams different looks/formations.

Because that’s what people do in the Wildcat.
fricking Chad Pennington did it in Miami.
Watch some football moron. He doesn’t even run a route when he’s “playing WR” he literally just stands there to draw out the CB.

He was the backup QB in blowout games. He would come in a run a series not just play the running QB.
You fricking moron.
Do you watch football?
