Hoping Brady and McMahon create a few wrinkles to get him some touches.

Idk Burrow is more mobile than Brees.

So IDK if we need a running or if we really need a QB doing all the other stuff Hill does.

Tayson Hill is an insane athlete who is kinda a mediocre QBS. So he needs to do all that stuff to get on the roster. Plus you find ways to work in a 4.4 guy.

Idk if you can say all that about Parrish.

Nah. I hate the idea of taking the ball out of Dual Threat Joey's hands

I would not mind a few running situations with him to spare Burrow from taking expected hits for certain plays. But, taking Burrow off the field takes away play fakes. You won't have the element of surprise if same play is not in to run similar plays.

I'm pretty sure Parrish can at least lob a football

Yes, but wouldn't you want you best passer who also is a run threat to be the person handling the ball in most critical moments?

You may get a few fake plays with substitute, but teams will adjust the same way they did against T. Hill. He became less and less effective as the season went on.

To spare Burrow, I wouldn't be against a few designed runs in certain situations.

This is a narrow minded perspective. Aggressive offensive minds see "gadget plays" as an opportunity to gain chunk yardage or possible touchdowns. More importantly, these type of plays & others that are spun off them using the same personnel groupings/formations, provide another aspect for future opponents to spend time prepping for in the film room & on the practice field.

Against the Eagles in the Divisional round, Hill threw what would have been a 40+ yard TD to Alvin Kamara if not for an offensive holding call against the Saints.

In the NFC Championship Game, Hill scored after catching a pass from Brees inside the 5 against the Rams, so you are incorrect that Hill became less effective as the season went along.

That may be asking too much for him as a true freshman.

But I hope the coaching staff gives a good look at Parrish and the other newcomers this fall to see how soon they can contribute.

What gadget plays can parrish accomplish the Burrow can’t?

People forget Taysom Hill is 1. An insane athlete, and 2. The only running QB on the team.

Watch your mouth. PP may end up being the starter next year.

Just cause he’s black doesn’t mean he should become a damn receiver. This guy can throw the football and we have enough receivers.

In terms lining up Burrow or Parrish in the slot or out wide, which player do you think would demand more attention? Burrow or Parrish? Which player is more explosive in space?

Not really. He would be looking at a small package of plays to memorize, not the entire playbook.

How about a WR...

But Burrow is pretty explosive.

If you want to give the Defense the threat of a second pass Burrow accomplishes that more.
