Will our O-line once more be transformed into quivering bags of gelatin against the Tide?

Or is this year's edition of the oline a stronger breed?
Let's be honest. The offensive line performances against Bama over the last seven years have been putrid, fetid, deplorable. It's almost as if the LSU olinemen had a collective pathological fear of the color crimson that destroyed basic motor control, returned them to an infantile state, and rendered them paralyzed. It borders on the inexplicable. Nonetheless, each year we have been treated to the sad spectacle of otherwise excellent athletes being reduced to wide-eyed helium balloons, propelled into the backfield by pom-pom fueled breezes and Gary Danielson's taint-scented encomiums.
The trend has to end this year if we want to prevail. The oline has played well all season. I want to see them maul these smug c#nts, toss them to the turf, trample their skulls, defecate in their mouths, and repossess the keys to their illegally obtained - er,"leased" - Dodge Chargers.
It's time to fight back.

Taking off the P&G-tinted glasses, I have to say that I think Ala. will win a close game. I think the O-line will do OK, better than previous years, b/c the playcalling is more unpredictable and the Ala. d-linemen won't be able to just tee off and beat the LSU o-linemen to the spot.
However, I do expect Saban to get pressure on Burrow. Hopefully Aranda will do the same to Tua. We have a liability in the secondary (Vincent) that no doubt, Ala. will try to expose, and likely will expose unless we disguise coverages to hide Vincent. I'd use him in blitzes, use his speed to an advantage, b/c he simply can't cover.
On offense, screen passes to Clyde, Davis-Price, Emery should be on the playsheet.

Holy shite, get rid of the Thesaurus.

Well, LSU doesn’t waste its time trying to run into 2000lbs of dudes anymore so probably not.

You must’ve not seen last year’s game. They ate up every screen we tried to throw.

I enjoyed, very clever, have an upvote.

expect the holding calls to be made this week. Auburn and florida fans said that is the only reason LSU could move the ball on them so I guess holding will be called 10-15 times

We sucked at selling the screen last year though. Every screen we ran last year was obvious from the start and got ate up by just about everybody

The Tigers will be flagged out of Alabama and have to climb a mountain to win. The SEC may want the refs to know that its impossible to keep the Bama D-line out of the LSU backfield without holding.

Is that you LSUChicageaux?

Bama s front seven isn’t even close to what they’ve been in recent years. LSU’s o-line has improved from recent years so I hope things will be different this year. We also have a QB and offense that make much better in game adjustments. We are also more adapt to throw to the TEs and WR behind the LBs to back them off the line of scrimmage.

Why not ask them directly. I am sure they would have an appropriate response. We'll alert the trauma team at BRG or OLOTL that you're coming.
