Once the starter is announced?
Will one transfer right before the season or after the first game?
I pray that O is atleast smart enough to lead them all on until the first game or longer like Saban did a year ago.

McMillan needs to if he ever wants to play, but if he does intend to leave, he's doing a very good job of keeping it hush-hush. He will graduate on August 3rd. That's only 2 weeks away.

Maybe McMillian can pull a Burrow at another school as a grad transfer and have 1 or 2 years of eligibility left.

The problem with the almighty TD arm chair quarterback is that they've argued the starting quarterback position inaccurately the past 10 years.
We have had highly ranked quarterbacks in several classes, but developing them properly has been our main issue. The second someone makes a mistake, we are looking for the next great hope. Have you ever thought that this is a "winning" business? Coaches play who they think can win. Now. There is no tomorrow in the big 5 coaching world. We HAVE to cultivate and nurture the talent we have on the roster.
In recent memory we haven't had a staff that could develop young quarterbacks. The question is can this staff do it? We don't know yet. So why shite your pants now when we all have no clue?
The unknown is a bitch. What I'm saying is, our coaching staff, no matter who it is, Nick Saban, Jimbo Fisher, Tom Herman, or (*whisper * the dreaded dumb) Coach O is that we have to stand behind and support the staffs decision on who should start.
If you can't support it, frick you, and I'll be happy to take your seats.
Moral of the story is that no matter who our coach is, at the end of the day, we have to support those young men wearing purple and gold. The fun thing is not knowing. frick, ain't this better than basketball season?

La Tech would be a good fit for Justin M. Tech has been known for bringing in qb’s and kinda revamped their career!

He doesn't have to wait until the first game, only until it's too late to transfer and play somewhere else this year. The smart ones transfer in the summer, knowing that coaches will lie about competition just to keep them until it is Too late.

I agree JM will be the one likely to transfer. I always thought he was as gifted as they come watching him during warm ups. His lower body is lightning quick allowing him to get out ahead of the play. Unfortunately for him he chose the wrong school for his style of play. JM would have been wise to go play for a Patrino type guy who has a knack for developing that type of player. I am sure if he is set to graduate on August 3 then he may make a quick exit and sign elsewhere.

Because the guy running our offense was in every offensive meeting helping game plan for several years of bad QB play.

I am pretty sure that one year from today we are all going to look back and say the basketball season was a HELL OF A LOT more enjoyable than the football season!!

Always loved the way he carried himself! Never hung his head and continued to work! I wish him the best in his future endeavors!

quote:Jarrett Lee, Andrew Hatch, Jordan Jefferson, Steven Rivers, Anthony Jennings, Lindsey Scott, and Brandon Harris were all long shots not recruited heavily by SEC schools. Some of them seemed to only be signed so we could say we had a QB in the class. Muh development only goes so far.

Anthony Jennings and Brandon Harris were not heavily recruited by SEC schools? Go look at their offer lists.

Assuming Burrow is the starter, JM is definitely the most ready to start at another program.
