It prolly will not kill the BCS because most see this as a one year aberration.
Even if most believe Bama is 2 best team OSU had a chance to get to BCS title game had they not lost to Iowa State.
The real threat to the BCS this year is the fact that despite both the PAC and B1G have joined the conferences with title games, none of them have any significance in regard to the BCS Title game. Not even the SEC.
This is a problem as the Conf Commishes who set these games and partnered with TV to sell these games as important have a tough sell. These are the same guys who set up the BCS and can tweak it.
The SECCG has always made money and been a sell out and had decent ratings. ACC almost never has. Terrible matchups and lack of buzz for inaugural PAC and B1G games.
Those games ultimately either make money or help get their teams into the BCS title games really both. If they don't Championship weekend is a bust and that may force a change in order to make them relevant.
Now if we see the same thing next year with LSU and Bama 1&2 and it becomes a trend rather that exception that may crack the BCS.

Well then, you sir have proved your point and you are honest.

I wouldn't mind seeing an LSU vs Houston championship game. Just as feasible as what could have been a Boise State vs LSU championship game..... At least by the end of the year there would only be 1 undefeated team! This is assuming both UH and LSU win their respective conference championship games. Got my vote!

It doesn't really matter how most see it. It matters how Delaney sees it, and in my opinion he is a giant douche bag. ...A very powerful, manipulative, and controlling douche bag.

Look so very true, people in other conferences are saying they will boycott watching the game. They consiere LSU v. Bama a regular season game, that is settled by who wins their division and conference. There are still 1 loss teams, Stanford, Oklahoma State, Virginia Tech, Houston has zero losses. If the BCS doesn't think this through it could be the end as you say.

VaTech if they beat Clemson (12-1)

then the human voters from the other conferences need to get behind one team and put them ahead of bama.....

They can only do that via the media (as otherwise it would be collusion). You will notice that suddenly OSU is being discussed as the best alternative to Bama (if they beat OU). If OSU falls to OU, the only team that you could justify voting over Bama is VaTech under the "winning your conference is important" argument.

Yea good, but I meant a team with legit shot at BCSNCG
HOw do we know if the other teams are given a chance at LSU
Bama has no good arguement other than looking good inside the SEC..but didn't win the SEC
so, it should be someone else (conference winner)
