quote:Miss State and UGA tied for 5th last year in conf with SEC records of 17-13. UGA got a top 8 seed and Miss State got sent out to UVA as a 2 seed… all bc of RPI disparity. UGA RPI was 6, Miss State was 25. Try again.
I hope you know that our RPI will be high regardless since we play in the SEC. Wins are more important

My guess is a double header Wednesday... maybe a 1pm and 6pm etc

Hopefully it gets cancelled completely. Back to back 5-game weeks
Nah. We need to play some more games where Guidey doesn't pitch...

Take a cue from Zulu and start at 6:30am.

My BR weather shows rain and thunderstorms through city and 19 mph out of the SW by 6:30 pm.
IF this plays out no reason to cancel game.

If they did play today and the wind was blowing out they could probably catch up with Tennessee in home runs. Lol

Simply play Wednesday game, as scheduled. No need for DH.

Weather should be over by then. Maybe a slightly later start so players can warm up. Looks like wind will be blowing out to CF.

We need the reps. Lots of guys still battling for PT before SEC play
Need the reps? Always.
Lots of guys battling for PT? *maybe* 3B? But other than that, there are 0 battles.
Maybe DH too, but that ain’t PT.

3B, RF, C, and DH are all not settled. Same with all our pitching roles and learning who our PH options are. Sure there are 4 guys who are starting to pull away. But Arrambide, Mayers, Noot, John Pearson, Frey, Reaves, Costello, and Williams are all guys who want to play these games.

Not even sure what this means

IMO
3B - there's a 1A and a 1C
RF - clear 1 and then 2 2's
C - clear 1 and then a 2 and a 3
DH - I don't personally consider hitting once every 9 times a game as "playing time" but that's just me.
P - agree that 1/3rd of our pitching roles aren't 'settled'
