Bama is the last team on earth I'd pull for. I'd pull for the Taliban with OBL playing QB first.

In 2009 I rooted for Bama, 2011 obviously not, 2012 I was a bit ambivalent as I figured Bama would smash Notre Dame (plus I hate Notre Dame as much as Bama), this year I am completely in favor of someone/anyone beating Bama.

The only thing that makes me an SEC fan is the fact that LSU is in the SEC. I support the SEC if supporting it is good for LSU. With the current backlash of sentiment against the SEC right now. I think it would be better for LSU if the SEC did not make the title game this year and, if they do, lose. Of course I would feel different if LSU could make the title game.
Plus the fact that I would have trouble pulling for Bama if they were playing against Satan right now. Of course that can't happen as long as he's coaching their team.

Sure. They represent the conference. Roll Tide. But if they play FSU it would be nice to see Jimbo win the whole thing. And before anyone says"it will hurt LSU recruiting if Bama wins another one" That was taken care of Saturday.

Some fan bases just don't get it. The perception of conference strength is the best guarantee that the SEC gets a chance for 2 teams in the future playoff. This is to LSU's and every other team's benefit. Much like basketball, your conference rivalry is now irrelevant as the tournament is all that matters in the end.
