Just asking cause last year he actually scared me when he was on the mound. Didn't know what we were about to get- a liability or an assett?

He’s still going to scare us, but only for a short while.

I'm not expecting a break out season but there are signs of life there. I believe he will be improved. How much? That's still to be determined

From what I have heard, he still doesn’t throw strikes.

I really hope SMD doesn’t have an account any longer.

If he can get out of his own head, he has the tools to be really good.

He had a season's worth of the baseball equivalent of the yips last season.

I think he will be. He's got a really interesting problem in that his stuff has so much movement, it never ends up as a strike. When he has to throw a strike, he either can't, or if he manages, the batter is dead red because he pitches behind so much. After the A&M game, SEC teams basically just didn't offer at any of his pitches at all, playing the percentage that he would walk them. It was a sound move. You can't hit his nasty stuff and it's never a strike.

Here’s hoping he’s gotten it together so he can get drafted. Maybe him not being in high pressure situations might help as he likely wont be needed

Until he can throw a fastball for a strike, he shouldn’t see the mound in non-blowouts/midweek games. hope he puts it together

I think Adam’s preview says it well.

He will be used for an inning here and there. They don’t have to force him into a starter role this year

He’s gonna F this season right in the face, whether you consider that good or bad.
