Like LSU's OL?

Be careful saying stuff like that around here. That's the bat signal for Tiger Ree, Gray tiger and others

While true, there are several stars on shitty teams so that shouldn't be an excuse

That's true but no position group relies more on another position group than a running back does with their offensive line.

A quarterback with a crappy offensive line can go to Quick passes, or RPOs, Etc(someone forward that to Steve Ensminger). Wide receivers can make up for an inaccurate quarterback by running precise routes, keeping the routes short and working on boxing out the defender and their hand strength.

For a running back, if there's no hole, there's just no hole. There's nothing a running back and do to fix that or mitigate the issue. There was only one Barry Sanders.

Two things until the jags get healthy on the oline again, he won’t be able to do shite. They lost three starters. The second and biggest thing is until they get a QB that can complete a forward pass he will run into walls all day.

He needs to watch Leveon Bell tape and learn patience.

hard to say, but he isn't in a good situation. bad oline, bad qb. it's almost like he never left LSU, except they had a solid oline while he was there.

He had Herschel have about the same running style.

Fournette doesn't have the lateral movement and balance that Herschel had.

arry Sanders still had an exceptional career behind some of those subpar Detroit offensive lines.

Common myth. Barry mostly had good lines in Detroit.

Was my favorite Tiger but he's missing a lot of games, then last night couldn't punch it in on 3 tries from the 2 yard line. On fourth and two, he dances at the line and gets tackled by the foot ! Maybe he's just out of practice from the injuries and suspensions but sometimes you have to just cut up field and drive your legs and score. Don't put it all on the OL to do the job, help them sometimes.

The O line and QB are horrendous. With Cam Rob our, they have been starting Erik Flowers who was cut by the Giants. That’s how bad it is. Fournette made multiple good runs last night onkybto be called back for penalty. Only thing that can hold him back is health and a poor team play imo.

He had a great year last year but right now QB is hurt and backup sucks, offense line is bad so not good for him right now.

I'm still trying to see if he has good vision in decisively picking holes and hitting them quickly to get up field. I just still haven't seen enough of him in the NFL yet to decide because he's been hurt so much in missing lots of games. He's been running in the last 2 games that I watched of him against Pittsburgh and last nite against Tennessee like he ran against Alabama, and that's not gonna get it. He would kill me how he would just turn his whole body around and back into the line against Alabama as if that was gonna do anything in getting him yardage against them. LOL

I'm just not sure about his vision and decisiveness right now, but Jacksonville is not helping any with that terrible OLine.

Did you never see Barry or Gayle Sayers pass the line of scrimmage. There were broken ankles all over the field.

It doesn’t look like he took care of his body when he was hurt this year. He cane into the season in great shape, too

So you're saying Fournette is not as good as arguably the best running back of all time. Way to go out on a limb chief.

The few good runs he had were called back because the horrible JAX o-line was holding. They have 3 starting o-lineman out and this was the first game since firing their offensive coordinator and promoting the QB coordinator to offensive coordinator.

As long as he stays healthy he will be fine.
