Les is 3-3 vs. Saban. We all understand he kicked our arse in the NCG, but just shut up.

Yes much better. its really not that close. Look how well prepared his teams have been at Bama compared to Les' teams at lsu during the same tenure.

How well prepared was he for ULM? How well did they prepare for Utah? Les and Nick are tied at 3-3. The only reason he got to tie the record was a mulligan game which prompted the playoff system to be enacted. He gameplanned and shut us down for the BCS and I give him credit for being a great coach, possibly the best in the nation-but it is close. Facts don't lie, they are only distorted by opinion.

Saban is simply a better coach in terms of preparation.

Which team was better prepared in T-Town last year?

Which coach made more bone-head moves in that game?

Who got a mulligan after whining on National TV?

Like the 2009 12-10 curbstomping Bama put on Tn, having to win with a last second blocked field goal at home? LSU beats Auburn at home 12-10 and now Miles may be only a top 15 coach?

I'm a Tiger fan but not a blind homer. Miles does a lot of very good things as the leader of the program, but let's be honest, we don't seem as prepared and disciplined as Saban's teams. Saban almost always has his team well prepared and they play with discipline and intensity. Saban also manages the game very well. Miles has had great success here, but more than Saban, Miles' teams have sloppy football, are more penalty-prone, and Les has some breathtakingly bad clock management issues.
So I like Miles, but let's try to take off the rose colored glasses once in awhile and see things as they truly are.

September 23, 2000, LSU loses to UAB at Tiger Stadium 10–13. Coach? Saban.

Yes they have won and lost games BUT they correct them. How much shite have we corrected on Offense? How many clock management and retard furcking play calls have we made over and over.Like I said, I like Miles and we can win with him but it worries me when a close, imortant game hangs on him making the right choices.

How do you know the play calls are bad? He made more good calls than Chiz or Sark. Didn't Chiz win a NC two yrs ago?

Please diagram and explain the good plays Miles should have called.

I don't understand why it is so important for some of you that LSU fans/ESPN/national media accept Miles. He is the coach of LSU, you like him, why do you need validation from others? Negatigers, Bama fans and ESPN aren't pleading with you daily to start disrespecting him, so why do you feel the need to beg for his acceptance?

I am not begging for anyone, especially the media and the NegaMiles group on here, to accept Miles. I learned a long time ago that you can't fix stupid. I can defend him though against totally illogical arguments and being credited for everything that is wrong and nothing that is good in LSU football.

I, for one, believe Saban is in fact a better coach than Miles. Unlike some rantards on here, I look at it kind of like the two teams last year, both damn good and not much difference between them. But Saban is a gump now and I am not very fond of gumps. So, while I thank Saban for his contributions to LSU football, Les Miles is now the coach of LSU and with a record like his, has earned the respect of most sane Tiger fans.

A coach with a record that, by the way, almost every other coach in America envies.

LSU is 28-3, 16-2 since 2010...who is not respecting that kinda production/elite status???

who gives a damn how prepared the team is. they win. LSU has only lost 3 games in the last 2+ years. 2 of 3 losses to the national champs that year, teams that went unbeaten except LSU beat bama at bama. that's the objective truth. miles is 3-3 vs lil nicky. if you don't think miles is very good just ask someone who was around for dinardo etc.

down 31-3 in the 4th quarter against troy at home was more embarrassing imo because of where the program was at in 2000 & 2008. lsu was coming off losing seasons 8 out of 11 years in 2000. compared to 2 n.c. in 5 years in 08.

people who see only the negative and then defend the negative are not objective, they are negative.

and...

negative people are only illustrating their own low self esteem.

you are so knowledgeable in negative things, you will never be a good coach, so why do you type sooo much?...b/c you are negative about all things, or try to justify your negativity by saying one good thing... you are maximus 2.

Lets see? Choose win or loss.

HMMMMMMMM.

You keep the pretty loss, I will take the ugly win, that way we can both be happy.

So a come back from behind win is worse than losing?
Good fricking god. So winning a close game against Troy is worse than losing to UAB, ULM, and Utah? What is Les's OOC record? God you people are willing to be stupid to think that you're right.

ETA: you would fit right in on the POLI Board.

He gets the credit he deserves every time he deposits his bi-weekly check of approximately $175,000.

losing to UAB was not good. but the program was in it's 4th game under a new coach rebuilding from 8 out of 11 losing seasons. but coming off a n.c. & you have to come back from being down 28 pts to troy is just as bad, maybe worst because again, the program was night & day in 2000 & 2008.

UAB- maybe if josh booty doesn't draw a play in the dirt, lsu might have won. monroe- don't follow bama like i do lsu, no idea what happened there. utah- was 6th in the country & undefeated, not a bad loss imo.

So you allow for outside circumstances in Saban's loss but completely ignore the fact that Les kicked his starting QB off the team and we were left with Hatch and Lee? Outstanding.

you know it was going to be growing pains in 2000.i was more pissed lsu lost to ole miss in 2001 than UAB i 2000. everybody knew perilloux was trouble. while i give miles credit for kicking him off after the 5th or 6th screwup, les had no backup plan.
