If you have to ASK the question.....then there is your answer.
:who gives a shite....he's ours and LSU and Miles are both lucky to have each other:

To overcome that national perception he will have to win on the largest stage (nat. champ. games)
He's got one of those. He also won the Game of the Century Part 1 in Tuscaloosa.

neither did Bobby Bowden

And the real gripe with Mett was that by the NC game, there was no reason he shouldn't have been ready. He wasn't a frosh right out of high school and with all the blowouts last year he should've gotten much more playing time.
I can agree with this. I was expecting Mett to get as much time playing behind JL/JJ as RP did behind Matt Flynn. We won the NC that year because our backup QB was ready enough to play in the SECCG.
I guess CLM was concentrating on getting the most out of JL/JJ.

He needs at least 4 more National Titles before he's off the hot seat.

Is Saban that much better? his record says he's better, but that much better
Yes much better. its really not that close. Look how well prepared his teams have been at Bama compared to Les' teams at lsu during the same tenure.

first year under saban while he has been implementing his system. 2008-2009 seasons I blame soley on Les.

So Saban gets a pass and Miles doesn't? OK, just so I understand your rules.

If you all think Les has his team prepared to play week in and week out, you are just a flat out sunshine pumper. Saban is simply a better coach in terms of preparation. Saban would have benched most of our players with all the block in the backs and personal fouls Sat while Les doesn't do jake shite.

If you have every talked to Les when he doesnt have to use coach speak he is a very good speaker and comes off as intelligent

not giving Saban a pass that was his first year at Bama while they were coming off probation. Miles literally shite the bead in 2008-2009. while Saban was loading up the Bama machine. Wit that said, I don't believe lil nicky had two shitty years at bama. the vast majority of college football fans will have Saban at the top of college football while Les would be in the bottom half of the top 15. Only people putting les ahead of Saban are lsu fans.

I don't give a phat rats arse what year it was. LSU/bama should never...NEVER...lose to the likes of UAB/ULM on their home field.
the haters always seem to makes excuses for Saban...but blame Les for every single thing.

This.
Sheek also posted after signing day that lsu was headed to the music city bowl in 2013.

yeah...i know. Like when Miles suspended that WR for a game only to put him in the 2nd half because ULM was giving them all they could handle. oh wait...that was Saban...my bad.

I don't understand why it is so important for some of you that LSU fans/ESPN/national media accept Miles. He is the coach of LSU, you like him, why do you need validation from others? Negatigers, Bama fans and ESPN aren't pleading with you daily to start disrespecting him, so why do you feel the need to beg for his acceptance?

Saban is 59-12 at Alabama while Les Miles is 79-18 at LSU including 3-3 head to head.

yes but should have never promoted the dumb and dumber as DCs in 2008. 2009 was just a cluster frick of shitty calls on offense. Les trying to play big ten football on the offensive side is getting old.

Hindsight is always 20-20. I get what Les was trying to do, maintain continuity on a talented defense, but it just didn't work out. Who knew Pelini meant so much?
Arkansas tried the same kinda thing bringing JLS back because he knew the players/coaches and it was hoped he wouldn't rock the boat.
