I would have called them out by name for putting forth a crappy effort. Harris for one should apologize to the team and fans for being such a terrible tackler.

Players are responsible for what happens on the field. Busted coverages, missed tackles are in the players not the coaches, place the blame where it belongs

No. If anything it should motivate the hell out of them to fight and claw themselves back to gain some respect back from the fans and opposing teams. If they aren’t pissed off about their own lackluster performance last night, then maybe some of them should hit the portal and not let the door hit them on the way out. Critique is healthy.

well the players are getting paid now so they should be able to take some responsibility. it's not Brian Kelly out there on the field missing tackles or watching a receiver run down the field all by himself to catch a pass for a TD. these kids didn't just start playing football yesterday.

Pretty sure missed tackles is not part of the defensive scheme.
