Greatest season by a tiger. I don’t think he wins the greatest career argument though.

The odds of it happening in the next 20 years is very very slim. Look how long it took for someone to actually surpass ole Billy!

Maybe. But he'll ALWAYS be one of the all-time Greats.

It's always possible man, but for now let's just enjoy Joe and all the other Tiger football greats who have graced our university.

Billy Cannon
Tyrann Mathieu
Joe Burrow
Pat Pete
LF7
YA Tittle
Jarvis Landry
OBJ
Glenn Dorsey
Kevin Mawae
Kevin Faulk
Devin White
Jacob Hester
La'el Collins
Joseph Addai

Matt Flynn
Brad Wing
JaMarcus Russell
Stevan Ridley
Trindon Holliday
Spencer Ware
Dreadlocks of Doom

There's nothing I'd rather be than an LSU Tiger

Not in my lifetime, and most likely never.

Highly unlikely. Commission the statue and retire 9 starting next season.

One thing history has shown us is that anyone or anything can be topped, so the answer is yes.

Will it be anytime soon, doubtful.

Geaux Jeaux, and thank you for coming to LSU.

I hope the Bengals don't ruin him. Obviously, I don't know Joe Burrow personally, but he seems like such a likable and classy guy from what I've seen in interviews and such. I want nothing but the best for him. Even setting aside all the stats and trophies and rings, I just want good things to happen for that young man. For a university that has unfortunately been plagued by quite a few thug personalities, Joe is the best representative for LSU that we could ask for.

Better season...I don't see how. Just the numbers alone would be hard to top, but records are made to be broken. Add in the history of the program and offensive (lack of) prowess and I don't think it can be topped.

But I could see him being topped for a career. A 3 year starter that is homegrown putting up Burrow like numbers for multiple seasons and a Heisman or two would probably do it for the fans. I just wouldn't bet on all of that happening.

Can it happen? Sure anything can happen.

But his stats+demeanor+awards+NC - there's almost no chance someone ever does that again.

We can only hope that he does get passed. It would be great for MB to replicate his accomplishments.

If a kid transferring because he didn’t win the starting job at his original school having the greatest qb season in the history of the NCAA while going 15-0, winning the Heisman and a natty being coached by the worst coach in Ole Miss history who wins coach of the year doesn’t tell us anything is possible, I don’t know what does. But it is highly unlikely.

Max Johnson has the GOAT named, though.

Short answer, nah.
