Played LSU. It never bothers me that they go somewhere else. It does when they lie to the coaches and string us out. I predict this will end up like the Hootie/Adams situation. We got the better end of the deal.

LSU is a force when we have quality depth on the D line.Fresh linemen in the second half is important.Hopefully this young man will contribute to the depth at NG.

I have a friend that works at UW and he raved about the kid when they were recruiting him. Think he'll be a beast

Not sure if you're serious here but...I'll just go with what you kinda asked. Ika will be a mule in the middle, not just serviceable but a wrecking machine. Along with Shelvin the NT position might be the best it's been in a long long time.

I also liked what I saw in the spring game but keep in mind he was going against a 250lb guard in Turner and a 285lb center in Snith.
When he switched over to face the 1's, his impact was definitely lessened.
I am not saying he won't be good, I am just saying don't expect him to be anything more than a run stuffer at first. Which likely means he won't have a ton of stats.
