Will Ika be any good?

He's a DT that's a freshman. We grabbed him after we laid off recruiting the guy that went to Bama from Amite who I won't mention the traitor's name. Hopefully this guy from Utah will be serviceable because we need him.

He preformed well in the spring game but that doesn’t mean much.. there have been many spring game all Americans.

Oh he’s going to be much more than serviceable. Did you see him in the spring game? He had only been on campus for a couple months at that point. Not only that, but I really think Tyler Shelvin will finally fully turn the corner.

Did u even watch the spring game? he was pushing our #1's easily .. Kid is not someone we grabbed cause " we Missed on one " they wanted him and the fool from Amite " He will be pretty damn good

Hopefully so our entire season is done if he doesn't work out. Nose tackle is the missing peice that will lead us to the playoffs

I didn’t see this. I saw him pushing our #2s easily. I saw him hold his own against the 1s. When he got penetration, it was always against backups. Still, he will be a force in the future if he is already doing good things as a freshman. A big positive I saw in the Spring game was that he never really looked tired. He performed well in all his reps. That is HUGE for a big man.

The talent is there. Just needs to get his body right. Looks like Shelvin has transformed his and will take over at the #1 nose spot and Apu will spell him

His goal was to lose 2 pounds per week. Moffitt said he has done that and sometimes would lose 6-8 pounds. Should be a force.

There’s so much wrong with what ou said.
Apu is gonna be great for us. Also he’s a NT, Ish was a DE.
Also he committed to us early and enrolled in December. Ish went to signing day.
I don’t blame someone for no knowing a situation but don’t pretend like you do if you dont.

He seems to be good enough that a handful of our NT alternates entered the transfer portal which leads me to believe they are pretty in tune with playing time opportunities for them now that he's here.
