Was Bucknam injured recently?

I've been trying not to get ahead of myself, but the DBU this year isnt near like the ones of the past. They just arent the same caliber team as they normally are.
LSU got a very favorable draw. DBU probably shouldn't be a 2 seed in anybody's bracket.

They lost to La Tech right?

DBU won 2 of 3. But nothing from those 3 games left anybody impressed with what they had on the field.

What was the clue?
Jay wanted to win 1 game?
And why did he throw both SP on same day? No confidence in the others? Well That sends a great message?
Or
Oh the ole keep the guy on same day rest theory? That’s bullshite since these 2 were in opposite days rest?

Yet, we cannot hit

They better watch it throwing off like that or DBU will find themselves watching Rhode Island play Little Rock in the winners bracket game

I thought maybe Rhode Island would do it to try to get to Sunday. Let us do their dirty work for them by beating DBU and save their ace for DBU(providing we beat them) in their g3. Getting to the regional final for Rhode Island would be something for them.

Probably should look at the CWS odds before spouting shite off at the mouth. No DBU Isn’t as good as they’ve been perennially, but they’re a good team that we really should not underestimate.

This wins the funniest baseball thread of the year for me.

Jay had dinner reservations at Mike Anderson's for Saturday night. He needed to be back in town.

Will Dallas BU throw off game 1 ?
Honestly if they want to win the weekend, this gives them the best shot. I don't think they will though.

Yeah, they are going to throw off on a tough game, while we throw our ace on a walk over.

Rhode Island can really swing it. I don't think they have that luxury
And RI apparently has one very god pitcher, so I doubt DBU throws off.

His numbers aren't jaw-dropping, but they are impressive, considering the league they play in. However, he completely shut down Oregon's lineup this year (10 IP, 3 H, 0 ER), and there is a significant drop-off from him to their #2 starter.
Trystan Levesque
5'10" 207
5th year senior
88.2 IP
83 Hits
32 ER
90 K
23 BB
4 HR
3.25 ERA
DBU would be playing with fire trying to pitch off against this kid, especially after losing their first game in the tournament for the past three years.
For comparison's sake, here is Rhode Island's #2:
Jeremy Urena
6'0" 165
Junior
77.2 IP
82 Hits
44 ER
47 K
20 BB
14 HR
5.10 ERA

DBU will pitch their ace unless they are stupid. Rhode Island has some really alive bats and a decent starting pitcher
