You noticed that too I see. Why is that? Are we "the team to beat"?

This thread is funny in a sad way.

I can recall debating a dude named "Bill D" on the Geaux Online site years ago. He was a Tepper defender.

I recall going down the list after like 9 games into the season and pointing out to him that in fact, EVERY QB we'd faced that year had his best game against LSU.

I haven't looked at that this year and I figure at the least, we can't say that about John Parker Wilson. But, I really would hate to look at the others.

So far, it sounds like this will be the case. But I bet Casey plays quite a bit since it's his last game ever.

Surely not... he had 333 yards last week.

MSU's D is better than LSU's but our offense may not be able to move the ball very well and he'll probably only have to work on a short field if that's the case. So you're right...he may not have his best game.

Absolutely. That's the way it is with LSU. It seems that it's always that way. Opposing qb's are made to look like heisman trophy winners when they line up against our pitiful defense. Really since the South Carolina game last year we have given up a ton of points and yards.

in all honesty, arkansas has an atrocious run defense...LSU should be able to control the clock via our RB's and limit little dick's amount of touches

I hate to say it, but our defense hasn't done anything in the past two games to convince me we'll shut down Arkansas' passing game. And it's not just the QB; here are some recent stats for the Hogs' top receivers:

Lucas Miller (last two games): 15 catches/258 yds
DJ Williams (last two games): 9 catches, 99 yds
Jarius Wright (last three games): 9 catches/218 yds

Just looking at the SEC QBs.....

Todd-AU: Yep, best SEC game was against LSU
Lee-MSU: Yep, best SEC game was against LSU
Tebow-UF: He's been great against most teams. LSU included.
Garcia-USC: Most yards of the season against LSU. 2nd best "stat" game against LSU (best was UK)
Stafford-UGA: Best game was UK, 2nd was LSU
JPW-Bama: No
Snead-OM: Yep, best SEC game was against LSU and highest yard total against LSU

Nice.............
