Teams that win National Championships are typically loaded with talent and get decimated by the draft

Talent that wins tends to leave via the draft. The SEC is really hard. You put that together and it’s a recipe for a rebuild.

The remaining schedule isn't as easy as everyone seems to think, and these guys aren't maturing, they're regressing.

As in Braswell, as in Kling, as in Milam (freshman regression is normal, guy will be a great), as in Neal, as in Travinski.

Typically one or two ‘shut down’ pitchers on those squads and one or two spectacular hitters. Replacing those is tough and not automatic.
