We only use 2 receivers anyway. Dural and Dupre will catch 80% of the passes. The other guys are going to have to make their impact on special teams.

Trindon was 5-6 165 to 170.

5-9 165 is getting-broke-in-half-waiting-to-happen.

Wide Receiver Depth Chart
by jaguar fan

Not feeling too good about this postion. With Dural a question mark and Quinn and Diarse gone; i dont see much experience there other than Malachi.. Is this a postion that is wide open?

Dural will be back. Trey had vision problems until late last year. Diarse didn't do much other than a few catches.
The talent we have coming up, though inexperienced, is downright frightening, and TAAAALLLLLLL.

I know we will be a "run-first" offense; which is the right thing to do with fournette/Guice/Williams in the backfield but losing 2 seasoned receivers this year may end up being a real concern. espeically is Dural can't produce

Are you serious? Losing Dural and Dupre will just bring others guys up to the top. Have you seen what we have in the pipe at WR? Chark is pretty much Dural and Johnson as a junior should be a monster. Dillon, the guy that no by seems to be talking about, is one of the most shifty players you will ever see, and we have three 6'5" guys behind them. Let's not forget a guy that I think will be just an absolute animal at LSU in Drake Davis.

The experience will be there, the talent will be there, the coaching should be there, what we need to worry about is if the passes will be there.

ETA: Oh, you mean losing Diarse and Quinn who were pretty much just glorified blockers last year. Guy we will be fine this year unless you are just trying to troll.

Dural had a year behind two pro bowlers and 2 years himself. An injury he suffered in November won't stop him in September. Dupre has had the best 1st 2 years of a WR career here since Michael Clayton. Chark is just itching to play (see Dural 740 yards 7 TDs with Jennings and Harris throwing him the ball in his 1st year starting). Johnson has talent like Beckham and Landry and will get to prove it this year.

Dural's injury will allow several guys to step up in spring and see what they have.

Dural will be fine and Johnson has shown great potential already. Expect the freshmen to come along slowly unless one of the big 3 goes down. I did see where Upchurch was moved back to WR.

I cant get that picture of Jazz Fergusons one handed catch in practice out of my head. He poked another hole in the ozone. Him and sullivan are huge.

And I am conversing. What did I say that sounded aggressive? I called you a troll because the idea of losing two blocking WRs could somehow mean LSU was in trouble at that position is laughable.

I just don't think so. With Dural, Dupre, Johnson, Chark, Jeter, Smith, Washington, Fournette, Guice, Williams, how many passes will be around for the others? These guys right here, with the exception of Chark and Washington, accounted for 123 of our 148 catches last year (83.1%).

Don't expect much from the freshmen this year. LSU hasn't been this loaded in experience and talent at WR in quite some time.

Also, i just really don't expect any of the freshman to do much outside of maybe Drake, until the 2017 season. I know people like to talk about why redshirt guys when they are just going to leave early, but WR is a deep position and we don't use many per year. Only 5 WRs per year over the past 5 years have caught a pass. Prior to that only 6 WRs per year caught a pass.

LSU will be fine at WR this coming year... This whole team is LOADED... No reason for more than two losses. Luck will need to be involved and the ball has to bounce the right way, but every championship team needs that... Cam on the Sidelines is CRUCIAL IMO.....

You're too nice. Trindon is 5'5 at most.
